摘要：Taoism is one of the oldest orient philosophies. Taoism advocates the respects for individual differences and the diversity of life in both human beings and nature from its origin till now. This immemorial and mysterious oriental philosophy seems hardly to be presented in the films. However, Lee Ang did quite well. To some extent, Ang is the best oriental storyteller in western film industry. In this essay, I will choose three of Ang’s Films to explain how Taoism exists in these works.
